The Center for Women’s Fitness is dedicated to the empowerment and education of women through all stages of their lives in relation to their exercise programs. We train women according to their feminine anatomy and physiology, taking into account the subtle bodies- the emotional, mental and spiritual as well as the physical.As the name implies- we work with women. At The Center we believe that most exercise programs have been designed by the male population FOR the male population. We believe that Pilates comes very close to the perfect movement for women but there is still room for improvement. We teach our clients and train our teachers from the feminine, the intuitive, for grace and suppleness. We connect the mind with not just the body but everything in between.

Our PilatesTeacher Training programs instruct the potential teacher in more than just the physical body. We dig deeper into the Feminine Psyche and train our teachers in the female anatomy and physiology and how it affects exercise.Our programs are organic in nature and take into account the physical and emotional changes that women face at any time in their lives. Our Prenatal Pilates Specilaist program prepares the body for birth through natural realigning of the body for successful natural birthing. Our Postnatal Pilates Specialist program gently recovers the body after the birth with a program that incorporates centuries old techniques such as abdominal binding to facilitate rehabilitation.
Our teachers are trained to teach women as they move through their lives with teacher training programs for menopause,the pelvic floor and pelvic dysfunction and beyond. We look closely at the changes taking place and adapt our programs to the body in front of us and not the body to the program. Each client is unique as is her exercise program.

Our Teacher Training progams take a Pilates exercise and go deeper with it through using the breath. We teach from a point of relaxation and suppleness. We listen to YOUR body and learn from it. We look at your anatomy and understand it from an energy point of view. We see posture not just as a muscle imbalance but a contraction/loosening of the connection between our energy fields. We would like to take you on a journey that doesn’t need more of the physical component with new exciting choreography, but a quieting down of your senses so that you may sit with yourselves and be content.

The brilliance of Joseph Pilates was in his intuition as to what worked well with our minds and bodies. We believe that had he lived longer we would have seen his evolution inwards and a deepening of his concepts.
