My 6-year-old daughter is currently in kindergarten at PS84 and is in the dual language program. She is reading, excelling in math and science, and speaking Spanish. Her class is well rounded and her teachers thus far have been exceptional. We commute 30-40 minutes a day from Ft. Greene in order for her to go to this magnet school for visual arts. The principal Ms. Rodriguez is dedicated to the education and well being of the children. She has their best interest at heart and is always in the classrooms, on the playground, and in the halls interacting with parents and students. The PTA is strong and there is a lot of opportunity to be involved and make a difference in the school.
