Transfering our son 3 years ago to p.s. 84 was comparable to when the wizard of oz goes from black and white to tecno color. p.s. 84 has a vibrant and holistic approach to teaching and keeping the classes exciting and progressive. teachers feel like family, communication is constant either in person over the phone or via email. my son is constantly singing songs he's learned in class. plus the dual language spansh program is unbeatable. he learns in leaps and bounds and there is weekly progress in all areas of learning. the school is incredibly clean and organized with a great little playground for the younder students and an excellent public park right next door that all the kids go to after school. between the school and the park it's fostered an excellent sense of safety and community. p.s.84 also offers virtual y and leap and afterschool arts program for all students k -5. leap fosters working together as a community and acheiving a common goal throughout the year on varied platforms. our family is over the moon with p.s. 84 and it's been thrilling for our son to attend such an amazing program.
